From the inspection on 14 January 2025

Pupils thrive in this kind and inclusive school. One pupil summed this up by saying: 'We care for everybody here.' Pupils know who to talk to if they have any worries and know that staff will help them. This gives pupils confidence to be themselves. They consider the school to be kind, welcoming and fair. Pupils enjoy a wide range of extra-curricular activities, many of which are run by the older pupils. The school is a beacon in the community. Because families are so well known, the school is able to ensure that potential barriers to participation are addressed so everyone is included. Many parents and carers are positive about the school and rightly so. Pupils have excellent behaviour and a positive learning attitude. At break and lunchtimes, they play happily together. Once back in lessons, they quickly settle and enjoy their learning and know the school's routines well. The school is ambitious for all pupils and adapts each pupil's learning so that they can achieve their best. Pupils of all ages are eager to learn and apply their knowledge in a range of subjects. Pupils are taught to communicate effectively and to listen to others with care and attention.
