What Ofsted said

From the inspection on 20 May 2025

This is a welcoming and inclusive school which sits at the heart of the local community. Staff know the pupils and their families extremely well. Relationships between staff, pupils and parents and carers are built on mutual respect. Every pupil is valued and nurtured and staff show genuine care for them. This helps pupils to feel safe and happy. The school is an aspirational place. Leaders and staff have very high expectations of pupils' behaviour and achievement. Pupils live up to these expectations by listening carefully and working hard. Their behaviour is excellent, in and out of lessons. Pupils encourage and support each other. Disruptions to learning are very rare. The school has also taken highly effective actions to make sure that outcomes for disadvantaged pupils are now strong. As a result, pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), achieve well across the curriculum. Pupils appreciate the range of clubs that are on offer to them, such as those for yoga, choir and mathematics problem-solving. They enjoy visits to London museums, theatres and attractions, such as the Cutty Sark, as well as to places of worship in the local area. Pupils take full advantage of what the school offers them to develop their talents and interests. They leave this school remarkably well prepared for the next stage in their education.
