What Ofsted said

From the inspection on 10 June 2025

Pupils thrive at this highly ambitious school. The school has exceptionally high expectations for all pupils. The mutual respect shown between pupils and staff ensures that learning takes place in a supportive and nurturing environment. This makes pupils feel safe and happy. Staff motivate pupils and celebrate pupils' achievements in 'standing assemblies'. All pupils access a broad range of subjects. They achieve excellent outcomes. This prepares them well for the next stage of their education. In addition to the academic curriculum, pupils are keen to make the most of the wide variety of opportunities available to them at this school. For example, pupils take part in the 'Big Sleep Out' to raise money for the homeless, and they perform in the school musical 'Matilda'. These opportunities enhance pupils' confidence and independence. Staff are skilled at teaching pupils the social behaviours they need to be successful in school and beyond. As a result, they are highly motivated in their studies and behave responsibly around the school site. Parents and carers value the work that the school does to support their children, a typical comment being, 'The school encourages children to be the best person they can be.'
