Pupils feel safe. They know that staff will listen to their worries and will help to deal with these promptly. Children in the early years are well cared for and achieve highly. They benefit from a range of interesting indoor and outdoor learning experiences, such as woodland activities. Pupils behave incredibly well. They know and follow the school’s rules and routines. Social times are a very positive part of the school day. Pupils engage in purposeful learning and get along with others. Bullying is rare. When it occasionally occurs, it is dealt with swiftly and effectively to make sure that it stops. Most pupils attend school regularly because they understand the importance of being there. Pupils benefit from high-quality pastoral support. They value the tailored support they receive and know how to access this independently if they need it. Many pupils appreciate the presence of Herbie, the school dog, who assists with their emotional wellbeing.
