Pupils love attending this school. They feel proud to be part of an inclusive community. The curriculum is ambitious for all and pupils eagerly engage in their lessons. The effective work of teachers helps pupils to improve their skills and abilities across all subjects. Children in the early years flourish. The environment encourages them to be creative and to develop their language and communication skills. They become confident and independent learners. Pupils have a proud sense of belonging. They value the numerous opportunities to participate in school life, such as serving as librarians, school council representatives and sports leaders. Pupils express excitement when sharing the school’s sports achievements. They enjoy participating in the music programme. Educational visits and visitors further enhance pupils' learning. These experiences combine to help them discover their interests and talents beyond the classroom. Pupils build positive relationships with one another and with staff. Older pupils take pride in helping younger children. This strengthens the school community. Pupils love reading and appreciate the library system, which lets them explore a wide range of authors and genres. Pupils also take pride in the artwork displayed around the school. Pupils relish celebrating their peers' achievements. Pupils consistently behave well in lessons and throughout the school. They understand the school’s expectations and maintain positive attitudes toward their learning. They report that bullying is rare and that staff address any concerns quickly and effectively. Pupils feel safe and know whom to approach if they need help. They understand how to stay safe. They appreciate the chance to share their thoughts through suggestion and worry boxes. Pupils know that adults will listen and respond to their concerns. Pupils attend school regularly and thrive in a supportive environment that fosters their sense of value. Pupils feel prepared for the next stage of their learning journey.

What the school should improve

• Leaders should continue to embed their work to further develop pupils' extended writing skills across the curriculum, to maintain above national outcomes for all groups of pupils.
• Leaders should continue to enhance support for children who need help with social interaction to promote even greater independence in the early years, enabling them to meet or exceed national standards.
