From the inspection on 8 May 2024
Pupils thoroughly enjoy attending this vibrant, village school. The school's values consistently underpin pupils' praiseworthy conduct and attitudes to learning. Pupils are friendly, caring and respectful towards adults and one another. Pupils are enormously proud of their school, and they relish the impressive range of opportunities offered to them. The school has extremely high expectations of what pupils can and should achieve. Pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), and those who are disadvantaged, consistently live up to or exceed these expectations. This is reflected in the exceptional quality of work that they produce. Pupils across the school achieve remarkably well. Pupils flourish from the supportive, caring relationships that they form with staff. Pupils benefit from the school's drive to complement their learning with experiences that bring awe and wonder. For example, pupils enjoy the engaging forest area and pond. Pupils also relish story time in the willow reading arch. They are happy at school. Pupils delight in the vast array of enrichment activities that the school provides. For example, they attend fencing, photography and origami clubs. Pupils excitedly told inspectors about their regular walks to the local library, their visits to a local farm, and to a university.
