What Ofsted said

From the inspection on 4 February 2025

A calm and peaceful atmosphere permeates this school. Pupils are proud to attend here because this is a caring and respectful environment. They are kind and supportive of each other. Pupils get along well. Disagreements are rare because staff promote a culture of togetherness, 'ummah', in the school. Younger pupils appreciate that older pupils act as role models and look after them. The school's expectations for pupils' academic achievement and conduct are unwaveringly high for every pupil. Staff ensure that 'no one is left behind', including pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Pupils are attentive and confident and articulate their thoughts and reflections well. They value the creative ways teachers help them to learn. Pupils celebrate the successes of their peers instinctively and genuinely. Pupils' conduct fully reflects the school's motto because they 'behave well, achieve well and become great' positive citizens. Leaders place great emphasis on the importance of pupils' wider personal development. There are an extensive range of enrichment opportunities offered. Pupils make the most of these experiences. They take pride in the many occasions provided to represent the school. These include participating in sporting competitions and speaking publicly before the Mayor of the Borough in the Town Hall.
