What the school should improve

  • Leaders should ensure that teachers check what pupils know and ensure lesson activities are planned to build from pupils’ starting points. This will help pupils build strong foundations in early reading, writing and mathematics.
  • Leaders should continue their work to raise achievement over time so that a greater proportion of pupils reach higher standards in reading, writing and mathematics, including disadvantaged pupils.
