What Ofsted said

From the inspection on 30 June 2026

The school's vision, ‘Aspiring to be our best with kindness, respect and faith’ is lived out in pupils' daily lives. Pupils enjoy coming to school. They are kind and considerate to each other. Pupils hold doors open for others, help when their friends are hurt and enthusiastically greet visitors. Older pupils are proud to act as ambassadors for the school. They help younger children to settle into the routines of school life and with their belongings in the mornings. Pupils love learning and display positive attitudes. Leaders have high expectations for pupils' conduct. Staff act as positive role models. In the morning, pupils are greeted by warm, caring adults who know them well. A smile and encouragement for those who need it helps pupils to be ready for the day ahead. Independence is developed from the beginning. Incidents of unkindness and bullying are rare. Pupils know that adults keep them safe by addressing problems when they arise. As such, pupils are safe, they attend well and want to come to school. Pupils achieve highly across the curriculum. They are ambitious for themselves. They are confident and eager to talk about what they know. Pupils benefit from consistently effective teaching that meets their needs. This includes pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, who make excellent progress from their starting points. As a result, pupils are remarkably well prepared for the next stage of their learning. All pupils are supported, encouraged and nurtured to be successful here. They make the most of the wide variety of opportunities on offer, including outdoor learning, clubs and trips. Pupils bubble with enthusiasm when talking about visits which are carefully linked to their learning and make the most of the school’s local area.
