What the school should improve
- Assessment in subjects other than English and mathematics is at different stages of development. As a result, teachers do not consistently identify and address gaps in pupils' knowledge. Leaders should embed consistent strategies for teachers to check, in lessons and over time, how well pupils have learned the knowledge and skills they need in foundation subjects.
