From the inspection on 9 June 2026
Pupils enjoy coming to school and speak warmly about their experiences. They form strong relationships with staff and each other. Younger pupils confidently talk about what they have learned and make links across subjects. Older pupils are equally positive and describe their teachers as supportive. Pupils know that staff will listen to them and help if they have concerns. Pupils feel safe and secure. They understand how to keep themselves safe, including in the local area and online, and they know who to go to for help. Pupils trust staff to deal with any worries quickly and effectively. Behaviour is calm and orderly. Pupils follow routines well and show positive attitudes to learning. They concentrate on their work, demonstrate resilience and take pride in what they achieve. Pupils support each other well, including those with additional needs. Bullying is rare. Pupils understand what it is and are confident that staff deal with issues quickly. The school is highly inclusive. Pupils understand that people are different and should be treated with kindness and respect. They are proud of this and can explain how they would include others. They learn about different religions and cultures and show respect for diversity. This helps pupils feel like they belong and it contributes strongly to their positive experience of school. Pupils enjoy their learning and take part actively in lessons. They respond well to questioning and develop independence. Most pupils build knowledge and skills securely over time, although some are less secure in applying aspects of their learning consistently. Pupils benefit from a wide range of experiences beyond the classroom. They enjoy trips, outdoor learning and clubs, and many take on leadership roles. These opportunities contribute strongly to their confidence and personal development. Overall, pupils achieve well from their starting points and are prepared well for the next stage of their education.

- Leaders should ensure that all staff model foundation skills consistently and accurately, so that pupils learn, practise and apply these skills effectively.
